| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jak zvolené determinanty ovlivňují kapitálovou struk-turu ve výběrovém souboru akciových společností podnikajících v zemědělství v letech 2016 až 2019. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část, metodiku a aplikační část. V teoretické části jsou představeny základní pojmy teorie kapitálové struktury Následně jsou zmíněny teorie a empirické studie zabývající se kapitálovou strukturou a jsou specifikovány hlavní determinanty kapitálové struktury. Aplikační část se opírá o data z databáze Albertina, které jsou pak pomocí kvantitativní výzkumné strategie zpracována. Obsahem aplikační části je zodpovězení jednotlivých výzkumných otázek. Jsou podrobně rozebrány ukazatele zadluženosti, je zkoumán vztah majetkové a finanční struktury a pomocí jednoduché lineární regresní analýzy a korelační analýzy je zkoumána lineární závislost věřitelského rizika a rentability aktiv u jednotlivých velikostních kategorií akciových společností podnikajících v zemědělství. Závěrem je zodpovězení výzkumných otázek a shrnutí zjištěných výsledků. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how the selected determinants affect the capital structure in a sample of joint stock companies doing business in agriculture in the years 2016 to 2019. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical part, methodology and application part. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts of capital structure theory. Subsequently, theories and empirical studies dealing with capital structure are mentioned and the main determinants of capital structure are specified.The application part is based on data from the Albertina database, which are then processed using a quantitative research strategy. The content of the application part is the answer to individual research questions. Indebtedness indicators are analyzed in detail, the relationship between property and financial structure is examined and a simple linear regression analysis and correlation analysis is used to examine the linear dependence of credit risk and return on assets for individual size categories of joint stock companies doing business in agriculture.The conclusion is to answer research questions and summarize the results. |
