Thesis type: Diploma thesis

Abstract:
Agile, being one of the most used approaches for software development, is at the same time challenging. While some challenges are related to establishing and optimization of processes, others refer to individual members of software development teams. From the creation of Agile teams to their maturity, there is extensive work on individual performance and individual self-development. This research aims to examine the role of individuals in Agile software development teams and propose an approach to creating Agile teams, reducing individual impediments, such as work-related and external sources of stress, and reducing the effect of these impediments. The thesis offers a comprehensive approach based on the theoretical basis, experience and opinion of Agile professionals, and results of testing with a real software development team. The goal of the approach is to create a framework that would help to increase the performance of individual team members and, thus, the overall performance of the entire Agile team.
Keywords: Agile coaching; Agile impediments; Agile teams creation; Agile implementation; stress in Agile; Agile software development; Agile personality; Agile challenges
