| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnocením datových skladů, které jsou v cloudové podobě, na základě předem zkoumaných požadavků. V práci dochází k porovnání datového skladu BigQuery, který spravuje Google a produktu společnosti Microsoft, Azure Synapse Analytics. Cílem práce je posoudit, zda si společnost Mindforce s.r.o. vybrala na základě všech zkoumaných požadavků správně, když začala používat datový sklad BigQuery. V práci nejdříve analyzuji a popisuji všechny požadavky, které vzešly od jednatelů společnosti Mindforce a taktéž byly dohledány v dostupné literatuře. Po provedení této rešerše se druhá část práce věnuje samotnému hodnocení jednotlivých požadavků. Z tohoto porovnání na závěr určuji, zda rozhodnutí vybrat si datový sklad právě od společnosti Google bylo pro Mindforce správné nebo by raději měla zvolit jiný sklad, který by mohl splňovat lépe jejich požadavky. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of cloud-based data warehouses based on the previously investigated requirements. The thesis compares the BigQuery data warehouse managed by Google and Microsoft's product, Azure Synapse Analytics. The aim of the thesis is to assess whether Mindforce Ltd. made the right choice based on all the requirements examined when it started using BigQuery data warehouse. In this thesis, I first analyze and describe all the requirements that came from the Mindforce executives and were also traced in the available literature. After conducting this search, the second part of the thesis focuses on the actual evaluation of each requirement. From this comparison, I conclude by determining whether the decision to choose a data warehouse specifically from Google was the right one for Mindforce or whether they should have rather chosen another warehouse that could have better met their requirements. |
