| Abstract: | Práce je věnována problematice globálního nedostatku počítačových čipů, který brzy po propuknutí pandemie viru Covid-19 v roce 2020 postihl světovou ekonomiku. Tyto čipy jsou nedílnou součástí výrobků napříč hospodářskými sektory, kromě oblasti informačních a komunikačních technologií např. také v automobilovém průmyslu, zdravotnictví či armádě. Krize čipů v roce 2022, tedy v době psaní diplomové práce, stále přetrvává. Publikace podrobně prozkoumává a shrnuje příčiny nedostatku čipů a za pomoci porovnání odborných pramenů a dalších relevantních zdrojů poskytuje odhad pro další vývoj na trhu čipů. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the issue of the global shortage of computer chips, which affected the world economy soon after the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus in 2020. These chips are an integral part of products in all major economic sectors, besides the area of information and communication technologies for example in the automotive industry, healthcare or the military. The chip crisis in 2022, at the time of writing, still persists. The publication examines in detail and summarizes the causes of chip shortages and, by comparing expert theses and other relevant sources, provides an estimate for further developments in the chip market. |
