| Abstract: | Diplomová práce zpracovává téma globálních hodnotových řetězců (GVC) a zaměřuje se na zapojení České republiky do GVC na příkladu strojírenského průmyslu. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se věnuje teoretickému představení konceptu a popisuje hlavní pojmy týkající se této problematiky a vybraná východiska trendů, které v současnosti ovlivňují směřování modelu. Druhá kapitola vymezuje základní specifika strojírenského průmyslu a zabývá se datovou analýzou orientovanou na geografické rozložení trhu strojírenského průmyslu z hlediska strojírenské produkce, exportu a přidané hodnoty. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje již specificky na postavení strojírenského průmyslu České republiky v GVC a propojuje závěry z datové analýzy s empirickými zkušenostmi českých podnikatelských subjektů, které byly získány prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the topic of global value chains (GVC) and focuses on the participation of the Czech Republic in the GVC on the example of the machinery industry. The paper is divided into three chapters. The first one is oriented on the theoretical introduction of the concept and describes the main terms related to this issue and selected trends that currently affect the direction of the model. The second one defines the basic specifics of the machinery industry and performs data analysis related to the geographical distribution of the machinery industry market in terms of machinery production, export and added value. The third one explains specifically the position of the machinery industry of the Czech Republic in the GVC and connects the conclusions from the data analysis with the empirical experience of Czech business entities, which were obtained through semi-structured interviews. |
