| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá současným nastavením bilaterálních vztahů Čínské lidové republiky a Japonska. Problematika čínsko-japonských vztahů je zkoumána zejména v období 2016-2020, a to na základě vybraných konceptů neorealistické a neoliberalistické teorie. Teoretická část práce vymezuje neorealistickou teorii vzájemných hrozeb a neoliberalistickou teorii obchodního liberalismu jako základní východiska pro následnou analýzu čínsko-japonských vztahů. Cílem diplomové práce je na základě analýzy určit, zda v blízké budoucnosti existuje riziko eskalace konfliktu mezi Čínou a Japonskem. V rámci zkoumání bilaterálních vztahů klade práce důraz jak na ekonomickou, tak na politicko-bezpečnostní rovinu vzájemných vztahů. V práci je zohledňován také vliv USA, zejména na straně Japonska. V závěrečné části nastiňuje práce tři možné scénáře budoucího vývoje čínsko-japonských vztahů, kterými jsou scénář status quo, pozitivní scénář a negativní scénář. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis is focused on current set-up of bilateral relations between People's Republic of China and Japan. Issue of Sino-Japanese relations is mainly analysed on the basis of concepts of neorealism and neoliberalism. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the neorealist theory of mutual threats and the neoliberalist theory of trade liberalism as the starting point for the subsequent analysis of Sino-Japanese relations. The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine whether there is a risk of escalation of the conflict between China and Japan in the near future based on the performed analysis. Within the study of bilateral relations, the thesis emphasizes both the economic and political-security level of mutual relations. The work also takes into account the influence of the US, especially on the side of Japan. In the final part, this work outlines three possible scenarios for the future development of Sino-Japanese relations, which are the status quo scenario, the positive scenario, and the negative scenario. |
