| Abstract: | Předmětem bakalářské práce je vyhodnocení vývoje cestovního ruchu v Ostravě mezi lety 2015 a 2021. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zmapování vývoje cestovního ruchu od roku 2015 a zhodnocení aktuálního stavu této destinace a jejích jednotlivých složek významných pro toto odvětví. První část bakalářské práce vychází především ze studia odborné literatury a sběru sekundárních dat o vývoji cestovního ruchu, praktická část potom vyhodnocuje aktuální situaci za využití metod řízeného rozhovoru a dotazníkového šetření. Jednotlivé kapitoly se zabývají otázkou návštěvnosti Ostravy, zkoumají počet a složení účastníků příjezdového cestovního ruchu, dále je analyzována nabídka Ostravy, významné zdejší atraktivity a vybavenost infrastrukturou. Následuje krátké zhodnocení dopadu pandemické situace v letech 2020 a 2021 a na závěr jsou metodou SWOT analýzy zhodnoceny silné a slabé stránky této destinace a potenciální hrozby a příležitosti, které jsou vyhodnoceny na základě výsledků šetření. |

| Abstract: | The goal of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the development of the tourism industry in Ostrava in between years 2015 and 2021. The main goal of the thesis is to observe the development of tourism industry since 2015 and evaluate the current status of tourism in the destination and its individual components. The first part of the bachelor thesis is based on the study of literature and secondary data collection focused on the development of tourism in Ostrava. The second part is the practical part in which the qualitative methods of data collection were used, such as a structured interview and a survey. Individual chapters focus on the turnout of tourists in Ostrava, analyse the number and the structure of the participants in inbound tourism, the supply on the tourism market in Ostrava is identified and evaluated, its attractions and infrastructure. It is followed by a short evaluation of the impacts of covid-19 pandemics in 2020 and 2021. Finally, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats are observed based on the SWOT analyse method. |
