| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním dvou železničních společností a jejich služeb. Porovnávanými společnostmi jsou RegioJet a.s. a České dráhy, a.s. Cílem práce je stanovit doporučení a návrhy na zlepšení služeb společností. Zároveň je cílem zjistit preference ohledně železničních společností mezi cestujícími a zkoumat vliv doplňkových služeb na cestující při výběru spojení. Nejdříve je charakterizována železniční doprava, její historie a vývoj. Také je zasazena do kontextu cestovního ruchu. Dále jsou představeny jednotlivé společnosti, jejich vývoj, postavení na trhu a nabídka služeb včetně technického vybavení. Poté jsou porovnány nabídky obou společností na vybrané trase, kterou je Praha hl. n. a Pardubice hl. n. Poslední částí je formulace doporučení, a to na základě vlastního pozorování autorky na vybrané trase a odpovědí respondentů, kteří se zúčastnili kvantitativního výzkumu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with comparison of two rail companies and their services. The compared companies are RegioJet a.s. a České dráhy, a.s. The aim of the work is to set recommendations and suggestions for improving the services of companies. Another aim is also to find out the preferences of railway companies among passengers and to examine the impact of additional services on passengers when choosing a train connection. The first part captures characteristics of rail transport, its history and evolution, and it is set in the context of tourism. Then comes presentation of the companies, their evolution, market position and range of services, including technical equipment. The service offers of both companies are then compared on a selected route, which is Prague main station-Pardubice main station. The last part is the formulation of recommendations based on the author's own observations on the selected route and the answers of the respondents who participated in quantitative research. |
