| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou protekcionismu v mezinárodním obchodě na příkladu nedávné obchodní války Spojených států amerických a Číny. V roce 2018 započal americký prezident Donald Trump tuto obchodní válku, když zvýšil cla na dovoz oceli a hliníku do USA, s cílem ochránit domácí výrobu v těchto sektorech ekonomiky a dále také snížit americký obchodní deficit s Čínou. Tato práce analyzuje vliv protekcionistických překážek obchodu exportní odvětví – zejména na exporty amerických zemědělských komodit a jejich případný odklon do třetích zemí. Nicméně tato práce také rozebírá také pozadí tohoto konfliktu, a to současné tendence protekcionismu v soudobém mezinárodním obchodě. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the recent US-China trade and the implications of this conflict for American agricultural exports to China. In order to decrease the trade deficit with China and protects domestic industrial manufacturing Donald Trump imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum – later on, many more articles. This thesis analyses the effect of protectionist barriers to trade on export industries, particularly exports of American agricultural commodities to China. Simultaneously, this thesis describes the trend of protectionisms measures in current international trade. |
