| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit, v jaké míře a jakým způsobem se Internet věcí využívá v restauračních a ubytovacích zařízeních, popsat hlavní klady a zápory Internetu věcí jak pro společnosti podnikající v daném odvětví, tak pro jeho koncové uživatele a možnosti uplatnění Internetu věcí pro konkrétní restaurační a ubytovací objekt. Neméně důležitým cílem práce je též vytvoření návrhu optimální varianty Internetu věcí. Úvodní teoretická část popisuje koncept Internetu věcí, jeho vývoj a historii, bezpečnost a také komunikační technologie a protokoly, jež Internet věcí využívá. V této části jsou uvedeny základní pojmy, princip fungování a představení hlavních funkcí. V další části jsou popsány hlavní možnosti využití Internetu věcí v restauračních a ubytovací zařízení v několika odvětvích. Praktická část práce se zabývá návrhem konceptu v konkrétním restauračním a ubytovacím zařízení, příkladem scénářů implementace a propojení různých funkcí. Popisuje také konečnou analýzu celkového provedení a shrnuje výhody a omezení. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out to what extent and in what way the Internet of Things is used in restaurants and accommodation facilities. This thesis will explore the pros and cons of the Internet of Things both for companies operating in these sectors and for its end users, it will discover the possibilities of implementation in the hospitality facility specifically. An equally important objective of the thesis is to create a proposal for an optimal variant of the Internet of Things. The introductory theoretical part describes the concept of the Internet of Things, its development and history, security and also the communication technologies and protocols used by the Internet of Things. In this part, the basic concepts, the principle of operation and the introduction of the main functions are presented. The following section describes the main applications of the Internet of Things in the hospitality sector. The practical part of the thesis deals with the design of the concept in a specific restaurant and accommodation facility, implementation scenarios and the interconnection of different functions. It also describes the final analysis of the overall implementation and summarises the advantages and limitations. |
