| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje analýze EU ETS jako nástroje přechodu k bezuhlíkové ekonomice. Nejprve se práce zabývá problematikou externalit a jejich řešení. Následně je zaměřená na EU ETS, přičemž je rozebrán postupný vývoj a další aspekty, které ovlivňují jeho fungování. Poté je za pomoci stanovených kritérií objasněno, proč EU zvolila právě obchodování s emisemi, a tato část práce je doplněna o SWOT analýzu. Závěrem se práce zaobírá vlivem EU ETS na inovativnost společností a analýzou empirických studií, které toto téma zkoumají. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is devoted to the analysis of the EU ETS as a tool for the transition to a carbon neutral economy. First of all, the thesis deals with the issue of externalities and their solutions. It then focuses on the EU ETS, discussing its gradual development and other aspects influencing its functioning. Afterwards, with the use of set criteria, the thesis explains why the EU has chosen emissions trading – this part of the thesis is complemented by a SWOT analysis. Finally, the thesis discusses the impact of the EU ETS on corporate innovativeness and analyses empirical studies that investigate this matter. |
