| Abstract: | Tato práce pojednává o olympijských hrách na území Japonska. Hlavním cílem práce je ověřit profitabilitu olympiád a zjistit, jestli se očekávané ekonomické benefity z pořádání projevily na samotné japonské ekonomice. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První se věnuje historii olympijských her, procesu pořádání olympiád a fungování klíčových organizací. Druhá identifikuje ekonomické indikátory sledované u olympijských her. Ve třetí části jsou představeny jednotlivé olympiády pořádané v Japonsku a je analyzována jejich finanční profitabilita a jejich ekonomické přínosy ve vybraných oblastech. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis treats the topic of the Olympic Games in Japan. The main goal of this thesis is to verify the profitability of the Olympics and find out whether the expected economic benefits from hosting have affected the Japanese economy. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first describes the history of the Olympic Games, the process of organizing the Olympics and the functioning of key organizations. The second identifies the economic indicators observed at the Olympic Games. The third part presents the individual Olympics held in Japan and analyzes their financial profitability and their economic benefits in selected areas. |
