| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dopadem změny klimatu na Vietnam a jeho reakcí na ni. Vietnam totiž patří mezi státy, které budou změnou klimatu ovlivněny nejvíce, a proto je důležité nejen zmírnit postup změny klimatu, ale také se na ni dobře připravit. Cílem práce je zhodnotit boj Vietnamu se změnou klimatu v kontextu cíle udržitelného rozvoje 13 (SDG13) a na základě zhodnocení poskytnout doporučení. První část práce se věnuje problematice změny klimatu obecně, mezinárodním iniciativám pro boj se změnou klimatu, a především SDG13 Agendy 2030. Druhá část práce ukazuje náchylnost a zranitelnost Vietnamu vůči změně klimatu a kroky vietnamské vlády pro zmírnění dopadů změny klimatu. Závěr práce se věnuje tomu, jak moc úspěšné tyto kroky jsou a co by se případně dalo zlepšit. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with impacts of climate change on Vietnam and with state’s response to the issue. Vietnam belongs to one of the most affected states by climate change, therefore it is crucial to not only mitigate its progress but also adapt well to its impacts. The aim of the thesis is to assess response of Vietnam to climate change in context of the Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG13) and according to the assessment provide recommendation. First part of the thesis deals with climate change in general, climate change international initiatives and most importantly with SDG13 of Agenda 2030. Second part of the thesis demonstrate Vietnam’s climate change exposure and vulnerability and government’s response to mitigate impacts of climate change on Vietnam. At the end of this part, the thesis answers how successful the response has been and what can be done better. |
