| Abstract: | Dílčího emisního cíle pro sektor dopravy stanoveného Zelenou dohodou pro Evropu bude mimo jiné dosahováno skrze využívání biopaliv zejména druhé generace z odpadního kuchyňského oleje (UCO). Skupina ORLEN Unipetrol připravuje vlastní projekt na sběr této suroviny v České republice a její zpracování na HVO. Celkové řešení by mělo být založeno na principech cirkulární ekonomiky nejen z pohledu zpracování druhotné suroviny UCO na biopalivo, ale i co se týče využití reziduálního materiálu vznikajícím během jeho zpracování. Jedním z možných využití je přeměna na palivové pelety. Cílem práce je zhodnocení finanční efektivnosti investice do tohoto řešení. K tomu byly využity dynamické metody investičního rozhodování jako je čistá současná hodnota, vnitřní výnosové procento, Index ziskovosti a Doby návratnosti. Investiční projekt byl vyhodnocen jako nepřijatelný ve všech sledovaných kritérií. |

| Abstract: | The emission sub-target for the transport sector set by the European Green Deal will be achieved, among other things, through the use of biofuels, in particular second-generation cooking waste oil (UCO). The ORLEN Unipetrol Group is preparing its project for the UCO collection system in the Czech Republic and its processing into HVO. The overall solution should be based on the principles of circular economics in terms of processing the secondary raw material UCO into biofuel and the use of residual material generated during its processing. One possible use is the conversion into fuel pellets. The thesis aims to evaluate the financial efficiency of investment in the given solution. Dynamic investment decision-making methods such as Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Profitability Index and Payback Period were used. The investment project was evaluated as unacceptable in all monitored criteria. |
