| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá historicky se opakující myšlenkou vzniku evropské armády a zkoumá překážky představené realistickou a konstruktivistickou teorií ohledně její vzniku. K otázce identifikace překážek a analýzy vzniku tato teoreticky zakotvená případová studie sleduje klíčové faktory, které tvorbě dle představených teorií historicky bránily. Práce pro své tvrzení také zkoumá vývoj současných obranných nadnárodních kooperací a analyzuje cestu, kterou se jim povedlo tyto překážky překonat. V neposlední řadě práce přichází se svým vlastním návrhem, díky kterému by mohly být překážky překonány a evropská vojenská spolupráce se posunula na vyšší úroveň. |

| Abstract: | The thesis examines the historically recurrent idea of the creation of a European army and explores the obstacles presented by realist and constructivist theories regarding its creation. On the issue of identifying obstacles and analysing the formation, this theoretically grounded case study traces the key factors that have historically hindered formation according to the theories presented. To make its case, the thesis also examines the evolution of contemporary defence transnational co-operations and analyses the way in which they have managed to overcome these obstacles. Last but not least, the thesis comes up with its own proposal that could help overcome the obstacles and take European military cooperation to a higher level. |
