| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá postavením zoologických zahrad v cestovním ruchu. Úvodní část se zaměřuje na základní pojmy v cestovním ruchu, definuje cestovní ruch a popisuje jeho význam ve světové ekonomice. Dále je vymezen pojem segmentace, přičemž jsou vysvětlena jednotlivá specifika nabídky a marketingu v cestovním ruchu. V závěru teoretické části jsou hodnoceny zoologické zahrady a jejich význam pro cestovní ruch. Praktická část práce porovnává existují data o návštěvnících Zoo Praha s dotazníkovým šetřením, které zde probíhalo na jaře roku 2022. Výsledkem tohoto porovnání je segmentace návštěvníků Zoo Praha, což je také hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis evaluates the position of zoological gardens as a tourist attraction. Firstly, common tourism industry terms and the tourism industry are defined as well as its position in the global economy. Furthermore, the term segmentation is explained, including specifics of supply and marketing in tourism. Lastly, in the theoretical part, zoos and their role in the tourist industry are evaluated. The research part consists of comparing current data and a survey which was conducted during spring 2022 where structured data and observations are presented. The output of the comparison is to create individual segments of visitors at Prague Zoo, which is also the main purpose of this bachelor thesis. |
