| Abstract: | Turecká zahraniční politika prošla pod vedením Strany spravedlnosti a rozvoje (AKP) významnými změnami. Výrazně se změnil zejména její kurz – Turecko je nyní stále více spjato politickými vazbami se zeměmi Blízkého východu ve snaze naplnit historické poslání Turecka stát se lídrem v regionu a světovou velmocí. Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o soudobém postavení Turecka v mezinárodních vztazích. Cílem práce je toto postavení zhodnotit právě podle nového konceptu zahraniční politiky Ahmeta Davutoğlua, bývalého člena AKP, a dojít k závěru, do jaké míry se tureckému vedení daří naplňovat novou koncepci zahraniční politiky a jaké má nová zahraniční politika dopady na vývoj regionálních vztahů Turecka. První část práce objasňuje teoretická východiska nové koncepce zahraniční politiky. Empirická část pak poskytuje ucelenou analýzu událostí, které následovaly po arabském jaru, které ovlivnily postavení Turecka v regionu Blízkého východu i ve světě. |

| Abstract: | Turkey's foreign policy, led by the Justice and Development Party (AKP), has undergone significant changes. In particular, its course has changed significantly–Turkey is now increasingly bound by political ties with the countries of the Middle East in an effort to fulfill Turkey's historic mission to become a leader in the region and a global power. This bachelor thesis deals with the current position of Turkey in international relations. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate this position according to the new foreign policy concept of Ahmet Davutoğlu, a former member of the AKP, and to conclude to what extent the Turkish leadership is succeeding in fulfilling the new foreign policy concept and what impact the new foreign policy has on Turkey's regional relations. The first part clarifies the theoretical basis of the new concept of foreign policy. The empirical part then provides a comprehensive analysis of the events that followed the Arab Spring, which affected the position of Turkey in the Middle East and in the world. |
