| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací migračních politik dvou bývalých amerických prezidentů – Baracka Obamy a Donalda Trumpa – ve vztahu k imigrantům z Evropy. Cílem práce bylo tedy jejich politiky porovnat a zanalyzovat migrační toky z let jejich vlády. Dále také poukázat na trendy v jejich politikách a ukázat kontinuitu či diskontinuitu jejich politik. Práce byla zpracována především pomocí analýzy dat z různých zdrojů, ale i pomocí komparace v případě porovnávání vývoje počtu imigrantů i porovnávání migračních politik obou exprezidentů. Výsledkem této komparace je jasná diskontinuita jejich politik. V porovnání migračních toků již výsledky nejsou tak jasné a liší se dle typu pozorované proměnné. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor’s thesis compares the migration policies of two previous presidents of the United States – Barack Obama and Donald Trump – in a relation to immigrants coming from Europe. The main goal was to compare the two policies and to analyze the migrant flows in the years of their time in the office. Also, the goal was to show the main trends in their policies and to show the continuity or discontinuity of their policies. The thesis uses mostly the analysis method for different sources but also through comparison expresses the evolution of the number of immigrants coming and also compares the policies of the two ex-presidents. Resulting from this, it shows clear discontinuity in the policies. In the comparison of migration flows the results are not as clear and differ in each case of the focused variable. |
