Process analysis for Backoffice application design

This diploma thesis deals with the definition of requirements for information systems using such techniques as process analysis, modeling, and prototyping. The author of this work explains the process of requirements elicitation, their specification, and validation and, further, mentions project practices that affect the process. A major part of the work examines the views on process analysis and information modeling of organizations (mainly according to the MMABP methodology) and their practical application in the example of the Backoffice application for the company Mutumutu. In the practical part of the work, the author defines all the relevant processes of the company, describes the created process model and the prototype, which was prepared on the basis of this analysis.
