| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá diverzifikací ekonomik zemí bohatých na přírodní zdroje. Na příkladu Ománu uvádí možné strategie diverzifikace. V první části zmiňuje možné negativní následky závislosti ekonomiky pouze na vývozu jedné komodity. Úvodem zmiňuje země Zambie, Chile, Venezuela a Indonésie, a popisuje jejich strategii diverzifikace, problémy s ní spojené, a její dopady. Práce se zaměřuje na ropné země v Perském zálivu, popisuje jejich společná specifika i rozdílné podmínky a na základě těchto informací zhodnocuje jejich strategii diverzifikace. V druhé části se práce soustředí na diverzifikaci Ománu a zjišťuje, že výhody leží v jeho trhu práce a v odvětví turismu. Práce popisuje detailněji strategii diverzifikace Oman Vision 2020, která měla relativní úspěch, a navrhuje, ve kterých odvětvích bude potřeba zlepšení v rámci Oman Vision 2030 a 2040. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis concerns the economic diversification of resource-rich countries. It states Oman’s example of a possible diversification strategy. In the first part, the thesis discusses the negative impacts of an economy dependent solely on export of one commodity. It mentions Zambia, Chile, Venezuela, and Indonesia and describes their diversification strategy, problems with it, and its impacts. The thesis focuses on oil-rich countries in the Persian Gulf, describes their common specifics and differences, and based on those information analyses their diversification strategies. In the second part, the thesis focuses on Omani diversification and founds that its advantages lay in labour market and tourism. The thesis discusses the relatively successful strategy Oman Vision 2020 in detail and suggests in which branches improvements are needed during Oman Vision 2030 and 2040. |
