| Abstract: | Cieľom bakalárskej práce je zhodnotenie potenciálu celosvetového hazardného centra Macaa. Úvodná teoretická časť práce sa venuje vymedzeniu základných pojmov problematiky hazardného priemyslu, dopadom hazardu na ekonomiku a predstaveniu svetových hazardných centier. Následne je analyzovaný herný sektor bývalej portugalskej kolónie Macaa, doplnené o finančnú analýzu vybraných prevádzkovateľov. Na záver bakalárskej práce sú predstavené doterajšie regulácie zo strany čínskej vlády, a ich vplyv na prosperitu hazardu v Macau. |

Úvodní teoretická část práce se věnuje vymezení základních pojmů problematiky hazardního průmyslu, dopadům hazardu na ekonomiku a představení světových hazardních center. | Abstract: | The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the potential of the global gambling center Macao. The introductory theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of basic concepts of the gambling industry, the impact of gambling on the economy and the introduction of global gambling centers. Subsequently, the gaming sector of the former Portuguese colony of Macao is analyzed, supplemented by a financial analysis of selected casino operators. At the end of the bachelor's thesis, the current regulations by the Chinese government and their impact on the prosperity of gambling in Macau are presented. |
