Impact of the Energiewende on the Czech republic

Bakalářská práce se zabývá pozorováním iniciativy Energiewende v Německu a následnou analýzou jejích vlivů na Českou republiku, konkrétně na český energetický sektor mezi lety 2011 až 2020. Analýza se specificky zaměřuje na tři dopady, které Energiewende měla v tomto období. Jmenovitě jde o vyřazení jádra, neplánované přeshraniční toky elektřiny a cenová konvergence. Práce si dává za cíl zjistit, jaký vliv měla zkoumaná iniciativa Energiewende na Českou republiku, konkrétně na český energetický sektor. Pozorování Energiewende v Německu a následná analýza jednotlivých vlivů na Českou republiku je provedena primárně na rešerši odborné literatury a analýze dat z ČEPS, ERÚ, OTE a Eurostat. Výsledkem práce je analýza tří zkoumaných vlivů Energiewende na Českou republiku mezi lety 2011 až 2020.

The bachelor thesis deals with the observation of the Energiewende initiative in Germany and the subsequent analysis of its effects on the Czech Republic, specifically on the Czech energy sector between period of 2011 to 2020. The analysis specifically focuses on the three impacts that Energiewende had in this period. Namely: decommissioning of nuclear energy, unplanned cross-border flows of electricity and price convergence. The aim of the thesis is to find out what impact the researched Energiewende initiative had on the Czech Republic, specifically on the Czech energy sector. The observation of Energiewende in Germany and the subsequent analysis of individual impacts on the Czech Republic is carried out primarily on a search of professional literature and data analysis from ČEPS, ERÚ, OTE and Eurostat. The result of the thesis is an analysis of three investigated impacts of Energiewende on the Czech Republic between period of 2011 to 2020.
