| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku projektu Miléniových cílů, který byl zakotven v roce 2000 a spadá pod gesci OSN. Miléniové cíle jsou zaměřeny do osmi oblastí, které jsou považovány za klíčové pro rozvoj. Splnění těchto cílů je stanoveno na rok 2015. Práce je zaměřena na sledování vývoje v jednotlivých oblastech projektu v západoafrické Ghaně. Práce je dělená do dvou hlavních částí. První část je zaměřena na Ghanu, popisuje zemi z pohledu ekonomiky, kultury, historie, demografie. Druhá část je zaměřena na Miléniový projekt a popisuje nejprve celosvětové trendy v jednotlivých rozvojových oblastech a následně popisuje vývoj v Ghaně. |

| Abstract: | Millenium development goals project is the key topic of the diploma paper. This project was started in 2000 and belongs to the responsibility od the UN. There are eight key development areas-goals set in the project. This goals should be met by 2015. The diploma paper is focused on the development of each of the goal in the West African country Ghana. There are two parts. First part focuses on the economic, cultural, historical and demografical description of the country. Second part is aimed at the Millenium project. The global trends are decribed at the beginning and the development towards the goals in Ghana is described in details in the following text. |
