| Abstract: | Diplomová práce Vývoj řešení pro měření datové gramotnosti se zabývá návrhem a implementací softwarového řešení pro společný výzkumný projekt Vysoké školy ekonomické a University of California Berkeley Indikátor datové gramotnosti. Hlavním cílem je navrhnout a implementovat komplexní řešení, které je schopné měřit a vyhodnocovat datovou gramotnost respondentů. Řešení umožňuje respondentovi absolvovat testovací dotazník datové gramotnosti. Jeho odpovědi jsou vyhodnoceny v souladu s definovanou metodikou a respondentovi je zaslán komplexní report s výsledky jeho testování včetně doporučení dalšího vzdělávání. Pro naplnění hlavního cíle bylo potřeba analyzovat požadavky zadavatele, navrhnout architekturu řešení, vyvinout a implementovat komplexní řešení, ověřit funkčnost řešení a validovat řešení se zadavatelem. Práce se skládá z pěti hlavních kapitol, ve kterých je upřesněna podoba řešení se zadavatelem, postupně je podrobně analyzována a převedena do technických požadavků tak, aby mohl být vyvozen architektonický návrh. V návrhu jsou popsány jednotlivé komponenty řešení a důvody jejich výběru. Během implementace jsou jednotlivé komponenty vyvíjeny a integrovány tak, aby byla dosažena funkčnost celého řešení, které je podrobeno pilotnímu provozu. Během vývoje a testování jsou identifikovány problémy, které vedou k přepracování architektonického návrhu. Tyto změny zefektivňují rychlost zpracování dat a generování výsledků testování. V závěru práce je úspěšně validována konečná podoba řešení v souladu s technickým provedením a businessovými požadavky zadavatele. |

| Abstract: | This thesis (Development of a solution for data literacy measurement) deals with the design and implementation of a software solution for a joint research project called Data Literacy Indicator that is done in cooperation with The Prague University of Economics and Business and The University of California Berkeley. The main objective of this thesis is to design and implement a complex solution that helps measure and evaluate respondents’ data literacy. The proposed solution tests respondents’ data literacy in a questionnaire and their answers are evaluated based on presented methodology. Each respondent is sent a comprehensive report with their test results and recommendations for further training. In order to meet the above stated objective, the following steps were taken: analyzing client’s requirements, designing the solution architecture, developing and implementing a complex solution, testing the functionality of the solution, and validating the solution with the client. The thesis consists of five main parts, firstly, the solution design is discussed with the client, then analyzed in detail and based on that the technical requirements are tailored in order to propose the right solution architecture. The proposal describes different parts of the solution and the reasons for their selection. Each part was developed and integrated during the implementation phase to achieve functionality of the overall solution, which was tested in a pilot run. Problems identified during the development and testing led to a redesign of the proposal. These changes make the data processing as well as generating the test results faster and more efficient. In the final part of the thesis, the final solution is successfully validated in compliance with the technical requirements and business requirements of the client. |
