| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce, s názvem Vnímání vzdělávání v tématu sociálního inženýrství ve společnosti Avast, je popsat a základně analyzovat problematiku sociálního inženýrství a postoj k ní ve společnosti Avast v souvislosti s edukací veřejnosti. Práce se skládá ze tří základních částí. První část se věnuje přesvědčovacím metodám, sociálnímu inženýrství, jeho technikám a častým podvodným praktikám jakožto i jeho vývoji v souvislosti s pandemií Covid-19. Druhá část je zaměřená na edukaci veřejnosti v oblasti sociálního inženýrství, a to jak v ČR, tak ve světě. Věnuje se podrobněji ohroženým věkovým skupinám a v ČR pak i dostupným vzdělávacím projektům a literatuře a edukaci na toto téma ve školství. Poslední část koncipovaná jako případová studie společnosti Avast Software se věnuje jejímu postoji k edukaci veřejnosti v oblasti sociálního inženýrství a podrobně rozebírá její jednotlivé iniciativy v tomto směru. Zabývá se neziskovou organizací Nadace Avast, internetovými blogy, interaktivní webovou hrou Avast Phishing Game a zejména pak největším vzdělávacím projektem Nadace Avast – Buď safe online. Volně dostupné informace a data k případové studii jsou doplněné dvěma rozhovory se zaměstnanci společnosti Avast, kteří mají vzdělávací projekty na starost. |

| Abstract: | Primary goal of this bachelor thesis called Perception of Public Education on the Topic of Social Engineering by the Avast Company is to describe and perform basic analysis of problematics and approach to social engineering by the Avast company related to education of the public. The thesis consists of three major parts. The first part deals with methods of persuasion, social engineering, its techniques, common fraudulent practices as well as its development in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic. The second part focuses on education of the public on social engineering in the Czech republic and the world. It deals in detail with vulnerable age groups and, in the Czech republic, with available educational projects and literature, as well as school education on this topic. The last part, a case study of the Avast company, deals with its approach to education of the public on social engineering and describes its initiatives in this matter in detail. It also deals with the Avast Foundation non-profit organization, internet blogs, interactive web Avast Phishing Game and especially the largest educational project of the Avast Foundation – Be Safe Online. The freely available information and data for the case study are enriched with those from two interviews conducted with Avast employees responsible for its educational projects. |
