| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá problémy dívek při studiu programování, především při studiu programování na Vysoké škole ekonomické v Praze (dále jen VŠE). Cílem této práce je identifikovat specifické problémy dívek při studiu programování a najít vhodná řešení, která by mohla být implementována do existujících kurzů programování či která by vedla k vytvoření nových vylepšených kurzů programování na VŠE. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část seznamuje čtenáře se současným stavem ve světě techniky a ICT, především problémů žen při studiu informatiky a dalších technických předmětů. Teoretická část je získaná z publikovaných konferencích, výzkumů a jiných literatur. Praktická část je zaměřena na empirický výzkum. Výzkum se skládá ze dvou dotazníkových šetření a řízených rozhovorů získané jak od dotazovaných studující obor informatiky, tak od dotazovaných pracující v oboru informatiky. |

| Abstract: | This Bachelor thesis follows problems of girls while studying programming, especially programming at the Prague University of Business and Economics (hereinafter VŠE). The aim of this thesis is to identify specific problems of girls with studying programming and find the right solutions, which could be implemented to the existing programming courses, or which could lead to creating better new programming courses at VŠE. The thesis is divided into two sections, the theoretical part, and the practical part. The theoretical part familiarizes the reader with the current state of the technology and ICT world, especially problems of women while studying informatics and other STEM subjects. The theoretical part is acquired from published conferences, research, and other literature. The practical part focuses on empirical research. This research is made of two questionnaires and interviews acquired from respondents studying IT, respondents working in IT and respondents that have left this field. |
