| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá popisem tvorby NAS systému a jeho porovnání s komerčně dostupnými alternativami. Práce poskytuje přehled technologií NAS a cloudového úložiště tak, že se zaměřuje na definici pojmů, poté technologie dělí, a nakonec popisuje, jak technologie fungují. Dále práce zkoumá 2 NAS produkty a 3 služby cloudového úložiště. U každého z nich poskytuje základní informace o výrobci a produktu/službě. Dále pak práce produkt/službu hodnotí. Naposledy popisuje proces výroby vlastního NAS zařízení pomocí Raspberry Pi, toto zařízení hodnotí a porovnává se zkoumanými alternativami z řad NAS produktů a služeb cloudových úložišť. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the description of NAS system creation and its comparison with commercially available alternatives. The thesis provides an overview of NAS and cloud storage technologies by focusing on defining the two technologies, then dividing them into distinct categories, and finally describing how the technologies work. Next, the thesis examines 2 NAS products and three cloud storage services. For each of them, it provides basic information about the manufacturer and the product/service. Next, the thesis evaluates the product/service. Lastly, it describes the process of making a custom NAS device using Raspberry Pi, evaluates this device, and compares it to the NAS product and cloud storage service alternatives examined. |
