| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá vývoj nezaměstnanosti a inflace v zemích Evropy v 21. století. Data k ukazatelům pocházejí z Eurostatu a jsou dále upraveny, aby neobsahovaly chybějící hodnoty. Ke zkoumání ukazatelů jsou použity perceptuální mapy a speciální modifikace párového t-testu. Analýza ukazatelů slouží především ke zkoumání vztahu obou ukazatelů. V práci je zkoumán inverzní vztah jako takový a zároveň je testována i správnost Phillipsovy křivky. Dále je poukázáno na rozdíly ve vývoji ukazatelů mezi členskými zeměmi eurozóny a zeměmi mimo eurozónu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis examines the development of unemployment and inflation in European countries in the 21st century. The data for the indicators come from Eurostat and are further adjusted to avoid missing values. Perceptual maps and a special modification of the paired t-test are used to analyze the indicators. The analysis of the indicators is mainly used to examine the relationship between the two indicators. The inverse relationship as such and the validity of the Phillips curve are tested in this paper. Furthermore, the differences in the development of the indicators between euro area and non-euro area member countries are highlighted. |
