Design of process digitalization in allergology using mHealth elements

| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na oblast mHealth v alergologii. Cílem práce je analýza procesů v této oblasti a následné obohacení těchto procesů o prvky mHealth. Tyto prvky se jeví jako efektivní z důvodu většího zapojení pacientů do léčby a dále z důvodu velkého množství dat, díky kterým může lékař pacienta monitorovat kontinuálně a mít tak lepší přehled o vývoji léčby. Nejdříve jsou vymezeny hlavní pojmy v oblasti mHealth, eHealth a důležité legislativní dokumenty, které s implementací mHealth souvisí. Následně jsem v návaznosti na pobyt na Erasmu v Belgii porovnala situaci elektronizace zdravotnictví v České republice a v zemi s jednou z nejvyspělejších ekonomik v Evropě, kterou je právě Belgie. Po porovnání následuje kapitola o alergiích, onemocnění astma a dále jsou popsány aktuální možnosti pro alergiky v oblasti mHealth jako jsou chytré přístroje, mHealth aplikace nebo telemedicína. Ve druhé části práce je zanalyzován současný stav interakce lékaře a pacienta, kde byly zanalyzovány aktuální procesy na alergologii a byly navrhnuty procesy nové se zavedením mHealth prvků. Následuje validace zavedených prvků ambulantním alergologem a pacientem, který je léčen s alergiemi. Současně byly některé části navržených procesů validovány mnou, jelikož určité mHealth aplikace z oblasti alergologie používám již delší dobu. V závěru práce jsou zmíněny přínosy návrhu pro alergologa a pacienta a také možné zápory. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis is focused on mHealth area in allergology. The aim of this thesis is analysis of processes in this area and implementation of mHealth elements into these processes. These elements seem like effective solution because of bigger engagement of patients into their treatment and because of big amount of data which can help a doctor with continuous monitoring of patients and because of the data, doctor can have better overview of progress of treatment. Firstly, the main concepts of the mHealth, eHealth and important legislative documents which are related to implementation of mHealth, are defined. Then because of my Erasmus stay in Belgium, I had an opportunity to compare the situation of electronization of healthcare in Czech Republic with the country with one of the most developed economies in Europe – Belgium. After comparison there is a chapter about allergies, asthma illness and then there are described current options for people with allergies in the mHealth area. The options are smart devices, mHealth apps or telemedicine. In the second part of the thesis the current interaction between doctor and patient is analysed, the current processes in allergology are analysed and described and new processes with mHealth elements are designed. Then there is the validation of implementation of mHealth elements by ambulatory allergologist and by a patient who is treated with allergies. Some parts of the new designed processes were validated by me because some mHealth apps from the allergology I use for some time already. In the end of the thesis the benefits of the new processes and also possible cons for allergologist and patient are mentioned. |
