Abstract:
The thesis aims to investigate how trust is essential as a notion for prospective managers and investors, for countries with low trust values, and markets. This thesis will explore how important the concept of trust is in both the private and public sectors of business management. The paper will develop a narrative case study based on court cases and interviews with the company's president, which will elevate understanding of problems connected to private and public trust in the Russian Federation. The analysis will be based on the example of the family business in Russia, which belongs to my family. Results of the thesis explain how trusting in the wrong person holding a high-tier position can lead to destructive results for a company, including corruption, tunneling, and exploitation of both trusts.
