The impact of having permission to use rifle suppressors and thermal vision, as accessories for hunting, on Czech gamekeeping

Recently, new accessories used in hunting have been introduced to the market, particularly thermal visions and suppressors. These items have provoked controversy between hunters who uphold traditional hunting methods and those who are open to new possibilities and technologies facilitating hunting related to animal regulations, etc. The aim of the bachelor's thesis will be to learn the opinion of Czech hunters from different parts of the Czech Republic on the new legally allowed weapon accessories and to evaluate the impact of these accessories during hunting on Czech gamekeeping. This bachelor's thesis should be useful for hunters and gamekeepers considering the purchase of thermal vision or suppressor, as personal knowledge and experience with accessories are included, not only theoretical ones. To gather this information, the thesis will review the historical developments of gamekeeping, discuss the changes in the purpose and methods of hunting and focus on select current threats to Czech forests and the wildlife in it, all of which have impact on hunting.
