| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá internetem věcí a jeho využitím pro snížení spotřeby energie v domácnostech. Cílem práce je najít možnosti využití IoT zařízení aplikovatelné v běžné domácnosti, které jsou schopny snížit spotřebu energie. V teoretické části je představeno IoT, umožňující technologie a budoucí trendy v této oblasti. Pozornost je zaměřena také na zabezpečení a soukromí, které se s růstem IoT stávají nedílnou součástí této technologie. Dále je představen koncept chytrých domácností, a nakonec jsou uvedeny nové technologie podporující vývoj IoT V praktické části jsou otestovány jednotlivé možnosti využití IoT v domácím prostředí pro úsporu energie. Úspora je zde pro jednotlivá řešení vypočtena a uvedené řešení jsou popsány. Jsou zde uvedeny případy, pro které jsou jednotlivá řešení nejvíce efektivní. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor’s thesis deals with the Internet of Thins and its use to reduce energy consumption in households. The aim of this work is to find possibilities of using IoT devices applicable in ordinary households, which are able to reduce total energy consumption. The theoretical part presents IoT, its enabling technologies and future trends in this area. Attention is also focused on security and privacy, which are becoming an integral part of IoT as number of devices using this technology grows. Furthermore, the concept of smart homes is introduced and finally new technologies supporting the development of IoT are introduced. The practical part tests the various possibilities of using IoT on the home environment to save energy. The saving is calculated here, and the solutions are described. Also, for each solution there will be introduced cases in which devices would be the most effective. |
