| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl analyzovat vývoj nálady ve společnosti České republiky na sociální síti Twitter za doby pandemie covid-19 v roce 2020 pomocí zkategorizovaných emoji podle nálady, kterou dané emoji reprezentují. Studií a analýzou emoji na sociální síti Twitter byl vytvořen vhled do nálady a rozpoložení společnosti v těchto nelehkých časech. Vývoj v čase nastínil, jak se lidé cítili a osvětlil, jak lidské vnímání situace a emoce přechází na sociální sítě. V první části této práce je provedena rešerše literatury zaměřená na výzkumné studie o mapování nálady na sociálních sítích a kategorizaci emoji. Další část se věnuje metodice práce, kde je sběru dat použit programovací jazyk Python s balíčkem Twint, dále je zde popsána transformace a zpracování dat. V poslední části jsou popsány výsledky analýzy emoji z hlediska statistické analýzy a následně v kontextu časové osy roku 2020. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the evolution of the mood in the Czech society on the social network Twitter during the pandemic covid-19 in 2020 by categorizing emoji according to the mood they represent. By studying and analyzing the emoji on the social network Twitter, an insight into the mood and state of mind of the society in these difficult times will be created. The evolution over time, will help to determine how people felt and can teach us how people's perception of situation and emotions transfer to social networks. In the first part of this thesis, a literature review is conducted focusing on research studies mapping mood on social network and emoji categorization. The next section discusses the methodology of the paper, where the Python programming language with Twint package is used to collect the data, data transformation and processing is also discussed. The last section describes the results of the emoji analysis in terms of statistical analysis and then in the context of the 2020 timeline. |
