| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je navržení Business Intelligence řešení pro konkrétní velkoobchodní společnost. Pro naplnění hlavního cíle je stanoveno několik dílčích cílů. První dílčí cíl zahrnuje charakteristiku trhu s osvětlením od historického vývoje po aktuální trendy na tomto trhu. Další dílčí cíl se zabývá analýzou jednotlivých oblastí řízení velkoobchodní společnosti a identifikací souvisejících komponent řízení v podobě úloh, ukazatelů, rolí a dokumentů. Předmětem posledního dílčího cíle je analýza samotné společnosti, současného stavu informačního systému a kvality dat včetně vymezení požadavků na Business Intelligence řešení, jehož důležitými prvky jsou hrubý dimenzionální model a datový model na základě kterých je zpracována samoobslužná analytická aplikace s výstupy v podobě dashboardů. |

| Abstract: | The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to design a Business Intelligence solution for a specific wholesale company. To meet the main objective, several sub-objectives are set. The first sub-objective includes a characterization of the lighting market from historical development to current trends in this market. The next sub-objective deals with the analysis of the different management areas of the wholesale company and the identification of the related management areas in the form of tasks, roles and documents. The subject of the last sub-objective is the analysis of the company itself, the current state of the information system and the quality of data, including the definition of requirements for a Business Intelligence solution. In conclusion a self-service analytical application with outputs in the form of dashboards is developed on the basis of a dimensional and data modeling. |
