| Abstract: | Tato práce se věnuje vytvoření pilotního Business Intelligence řešení pro skutečnou IT společnost zaměřenou na služby na základě autorkou provedené analýzy dat a potřeb společnosti z pohledu analytických a plánovacích aplikací. Současně jsou v práci stručně popsány i oblasti řízení firmy a IT, možné problémy v řízení IT a příklad jejich řešení. Čtenář se také seznámí s pojmem Business Intelligence a jeho spojitostí soblastí IT. Na tomto teoretickém úvodu dále staví praktická část práce, kde je v prvém kroku provedena analýza firmy a jejího řízení. S využitím znalostí autorky a osobních rozhovorů s managementem společnosti jsou dále sesbírány veškeré potřebné požadavky k návrhu vhodného BI řešení. Na závěr je v produktu Power BI Service a Power BI Desktop vytvořena jednotná datová základna včetně potřebných výpočtů pro sledované ukazatele, které slouží jako základ pro tvorbu reportů a dashboardů. Spolu s tím byly vytvořeny i ukázkové reporty sloužící k prezentaci možností tohoto BI řešení a jeho potenciálních přínosů. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to analyze a real company focused on IT Services, their data and needs in context of analytics and planning applications, and create a specific BI solution based on the outcome of this analysis. The first part describes some chosen areas of management in business and IT, possible problems and their resolutions. The reader is also introduced with the term Business Intelligence and how it fits into this area of expertise. The theoretical introduction then serves as a base for the practical part of this thesis, starting with an analysis of the company and its management. This is followed by creating a design for this BI solution based on requirements gathered using author’s practical knowledge and interviews with the business’ managers. The last step includes implementation of the BI solution’s unified dataset in products Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop including all required calculations needed for observing selected indicators. The dataset is used as a source of data for creation of reports and dashboards. The author also created a few sample reports in this thesis to present the possibilities of this BI solution and its possible benefits for the company. |
