| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem pandemie COVID-19 a s tím souvisejících zavedených hospodářsko-politických opatření na trh práce v České republice a ve Švédsku. Práce je dělena do dvou částí. První sestává z ekonomických teorií vysvětlujících jevy na trhu práce a také jsou zde přiblíženy vládní opatření a dosažitelné podpory vytvořené vládou pro podniky či přímo zaměstnance. V druhé části je proveden samotný výzkum, jsou sestaveny indexy měřící přísnost zásahů do ekonomiky a míru podpor firem i občanů. Dále je zkoumán dopad COVID-19 a souvisejících opatření na trh práce, a to v agregované podobě i při rozdělení na jednotlivé sektory. Vliv na HDP je zkoumán na celostátní úrovni jako doplňující ukazatel. Bylo zjištěno, že hospodářsko-politická opatření uskutečněná českou vládou nedostála svému účelu jak ve snaze o co nejnižší propad HDP, tak ve snaze o co nejnižší dopad na míru nezaměstnanosti. |

| Abstract: | This thesis examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and related economic policy measures on the labour market in the Czech Republic and Sweden. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first consists of economic theories explaining labour market phenomena and also government measures and achievable supports created by the government for companies or directly for employees are approached. In the second part, the research itself is conducted, and indices are constructed to measure the severity of interventions in the economy and the degree of support to firms and citizens. The impact of COVID-19 and related measures on the labour market is also examined, both in aggregate and when disaggregated by sector. The impact on GDP is examined at the national level as a complementary indicator. It was found that the economic policy measures implemented by the Czech government fell short both in terms of minimising the fall in GDP and in terms of minimising the impact on the unemployment rate. |
