| Abstract: | Pracovníci IT oboru na Ukrajině musejí kvůli specifikům své práce často používat sociální sítě, a proto mohou být vystaveni jejich negativním vlivům. Spolu s tím existuje zažitá představa, že pracovníci IT oboru mají slabé komunikační dovednosti. Cílem práce v této souvislosti bylo zjistit, zda pracovníci IT firem na Ukrajině opravdu používají sociální sítě častěji než běžná populace, mají při tom slabé komunikační dovednosti a je-li mezi tím nějaká souvislost. Prostřednictvím dotazníku, za použití chí-kvadrát testu v kontingenční tabulce a korelační analýzy bylo zjištěno, že IT pracovníci z ukrajinského města Dnipro používají sociální sítě méně než běžná populace, mají komunikační dovednosti na střední úrovni, a že tyto dva faktory spolu nesouvisí. Částečně se tedy podařilo vyvrátit stereotyp o tom, že IT pracovníci neumějí komunikovat, naopak se ukázalo, že v oblasti komunikace vykazují pozitivní posuny. Projekt bakalářské práce byl zpracován do 24.2.2022, tedy před válečným konfliktem na Ukrajině. |

| Abstract: | Due to the specifics of their work, IT workers in Ukraine often have to use social networks and therefore may be exposed to their negative effects. At the same time, there is a well-established belief that IT workers have poor communication skills. The aim of this work was to find out whether IT workers in Ukraine really use social networks more often than the general population, whether they have poor communication skills and whether there is any connection in between these two factors. Using a questionnaire, using a contingency table chi-square test and correlation analysis, it was found that IT workers from the Ukrainian city of Dnipro use social networks less than the general population, have medium-level communication skills and these two factors are unrelated. Thus, the stereotype that IT workers cannot communicate properly has been partially dispelled; on the contrary, they have shown positive progress in the field of communication. The project of the bachelor's thesis was processed until February 24, 2022, i.e. before the war in Ukraine. |
