Cílem je vytypovat klíčové faktory pro rozšíření konceptu Smart Cities v rámci České republiky a srovnat tyto faktory ve vybraných českých městech. Text popisuje stěžejní prvky konceptu Smart City, možnosti jejich implementace, a také rizika spojená s využíváním informačních technologií ve městech. |

| Abstract: | The master’s thesis focuses on the potential and limits of the Smart City concept in a theoretical level and in a case study focused on cities Hradec Králové and Pardubice. The aim is to identify the key factors that are needed in order to implement and expand Smart Cities concept in the Czech Republic and to compare these factors in selected czech cities. Text describes the key elements of the Smart City concept, the possibilities of their implementation, as well as the risks associated with the use of informational technologies in cities. |
