| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá zhodnocením a následnou komparací reakcí představitelů české fiskální politiky na ekonomické dopady finanční krize, respektive krize způsobené pandemií nemoci COVID-19. Na základě provedené analýzy je potvrzena hypotéza, že dopady fiskální politiky z let 2020 a 2021 přispěly ke zhoršení udržitelnosti veřejných financí České republiky. Práce se rovněž věnuje vývoji zvolených makroekonomických veličin ve dvouletých obdobích před vybranými hospodářskými krizemi. Díky této analýze lze konstatovat, že i přes příznivější předkrizovou ekonomickou situaci v roce 2019, skončil rozpočet vládních institucí s výrazně vyššími deficity po pandemické krizi než po krizi finanční. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá i původem obou zkoumaných hospodářských krizí a jejich průběhem nejen v České republice, ale i v zemích Evropské unie a Spojených státech amerických. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis deals with evaluation and subsequent comparison of the reactions of Czech fiscal policy representatives to the economic impact of the financial crisis and the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the conducted analysis, the hypothesis that the consequences of fiscal policy in 2020 and 2021 contributed to deterioration of the sustainability of public finance in the Czech Republic is confirmed. The thesis also analyzes the development of the chosen macroeconomic variables in the two years before the selected economic crises. Thanks to this analysis, it can be stated that despite the more favorable pre-crisis economic situation in 2019, the government budget ended up with significantly higher deficits after the pandemic crisis than after the financial crisis. Finally, this thesis deals with the origin of both examined economic crises and their course not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the countries of the European Union and the United States. |
