| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit finanční zdraví podniku Moravia Steel a.s. K dosažení stanoveného cíle byly použity metody finanční analýzy. Jako hlavní zdroj informací jsou použita primárně data z účetních závěrek zkoumané společnosti, a to v pětiletém období od roku 2016 do roku 2020. Teoretická část je věnována definicím finanční analýzy, které vyzdvihují její význam, její zdroje a odlišný přístup uživatelů této analýzy. Dále v metodologické části jsou popsány použité metody a nástroje ve formě absolutních, poměrových a rozdílových ukazatelů. Mezi konkrétní metody patří analýza pomocí vertikální a horizontální analýzy, analýza rentability, aktivity, likvidity, zadluženosti, analýza pracovního kapitálu a závěrem i zhodnocení finančního zdraví společnosti formou bankrotních a bonitních modelů. V praktické části jsou tyto metody aplikovány na společnost Moravia Steel a.s. Dle dosažených výsledků lze podnik Moravia Steel a.s. definovat jako finančně zdravý. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis's main objective is to evaluate Moravia Steel Plc's financial health. In order to achieve the stated goal, the methods of financial analysis were used. The primary source of information used was data from the financial statements of the company under study for the five years from 2016 to 2020. The theoretical part is devoted to the definitions of financial analysis, highlighting its importance, its sources, and the different approach of the users of this analysis. Furthermore, the methodological part describes the methods and tools used in the form of absolute, ratio, and differential indicators. Specific methods include analysis using vertical and horizontal analysis, profitability analysis, activity analysis, liquidity analysis, debt analysis, working capital analysis, and finally, an assessment of the company's financial health in the form of bankruptcy and credit models. In the practical part, these methods are applied to Moravia Steel Plc. According to the results obtained, Moravia Steel Plc. can be defined as financially sound. |
