| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je prozkoumat vztah mezi uměním a udržitelností a jeho odraz na současné české umělecké scéně. Práce předkládá seznámení s dosavadními teoretickými východisky zkoumání prolínání umění a ekologie, s důrazem na oblast udržitelnosti. Především se práce zaměřuje na koncept tzv. re-use center, která mohou v budoucnosti představovat odpověď na otázku nakládání s odpadem. Zvláštní důraz je zde kladen na úlohu municipalit v podpoře re-use center, ale i občanské a umělecké platformy apelující na oficiální orgány či přebírající inciativu. Práce je orientovaná na praktické hledisko problematiky – prostřednictvím řady drobných případových studií přináší ukázky dobré praxe z ČR i zahraničí, primárně se však věnuje analýze organizace art re use, na jejímž příkladu prezentuje možnosti a limity znovuvyužití uměleckého materiálu. Vlastním přínosem práce je prostřednictvím strategické analýzy identifikace hlavních problémů organizace a návrh jejich možných řešení, která zástupci art re use mohou reálně využít. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this three-chapter diploma thesis is to examine the relation between art and sustainability, specifically its reflection on the contemporary Czech art scene. The first chapter presents concluded theoretical grounds of the art-and-ecology-intertwining discourse, highlighting the role of sustainability in culture. The second chapter primarily focuses on the concept of re-use centres, which may represent a solution to the current challenges of waste management. Special emphasis is on the role of municipalities in founding and supporting re-use centres, as well as civic and artistic platforms appealing to the official bodies or taking the reuse initiative. The third chapter focuses on the practical aspects of the issue - it provides examples of good practice from the Czech Republic and abroad through number of brief case studies. Primarily it deals with the analysis of the Czech organization art re use, an example of a non-profit re-use centre which presents the possibilities and limits of artistic materials reuse. The unique contribution of this work represents a proposal of solutions addressing the organization's current problems identified through the tools of strategic analysis. |
