| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the analysis of the impact of Covid-19 on the supply chain management of Volkswagen AG. The goal is to derive meaningful implications to give strategic recommendations for the future planning of supply chain management of Volkswagen AG. By analyzing the structure of global supply chains, as well as trends, influences, uncertainties affecting the automotive industry and the company in particular, valuable insights to processes are gained useful for the predication/estimation of the future. The output of the thesis are specific scenarios of the future, that were created under the TAIDA framework. Additional input was provided through interviews with supply chain experts and industry professionals. Key findings are the identification of drivers for the structural change of the automotive industry, as well as mitigation and response practices in supply chain management in regard to supply chain disruptions. |

| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá analýzou dopadu Covid-19 na řízení dodavatelského řetězce společnosti Volkswagen AG. Cílem je odvodit smysluplné důsledky pro poskytnutí strategických doporučení pro budoucí plánování řízení dodavatelského řetězce společnosti Volkswagen AG. Analýzou struktury globálních dodavatelských řetězců, stejně jako trendů, vlivů, nejistot ovlivňujících automobilový průmysl a zejména společnost, se získávají cenné poznatky o procesech užitečné pro predikci/odhad budoucnosti. Výstupem práce jsou konkrétní scénáře budoucnosti, které byly vytvořeny v rámci TAIDA. Další vstupy byly poskytnuty prostřednictvím rozhovorů s odborníky na dodavatelský řetězec a odborníky v oboru. Klíčovými zjištěními jsou identifikace hnacích sil pro strukturální změny automobilového průmyslu, stejně jako postupy zmírňování a reakce v řízení dodavatelského řetězce s ohledem na narušení dodavatelského řetězce. |
