| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je získat vhled do aktuálního postavení výtvarných umělců v České republice. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na základní definice pojmů spojených s podnikáním, autorstvím a předkládá pohled do této problematiky také v zahraničí. Není opomenuta terminologie související s výtvarným uměním. Praktická část obsahuje kvalitativní výzkum provedený formou rozhovorů s pěti českými výtvarníky a za pomoci metody deduktivně-induktivního kódování jsou z výzkumu získána potřebná data. V závěru se práce o tyto výstupy opírá a popisuje konkrétní problémy výtvarných umělců ve svobodném povolání a OSVČ včetně návrhů na jejich zlepšení. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to gain insight into the current position of visual artists in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part focuses on the basic definitions of concepts related to entrepreneurship, authorship, and it also provides an international insight into this issue. Terminology related to visual arts is not omitted. The practical part contains qualitative research conducted in the form of interviews with five Czech artists and, using the deductive-inductive coding method, the necessary data is obtained from the research. In the conclusion, the thesis draws on these outputs and describes the specific problems of freelance and self-employed visual artists, including suggestions for improving the situation. |
