| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce je věnována konceptu emoční inteligence (EI) a vnímaní jeho role manažery. Pojem emoční inteligence je poměrně nový, a předchozí výzkumy ohledně modelu EI a jeho složek jsou docela rozporuplné a diskutabilní. Cílem práce je zjištění toho, jak manažeři vnímají roli emocí a emoční inteligence ve své práci. Práce je rozčleněna do dvou částí. První část (teoretická) je zaměřená na zkoumání předchozích studií ohledně emocí na pracovišti, různých modelu EI a významu emocí na pracovišti. Druhá část (praktická) je představená vlastním kvalitativním výzkumem autora, kde bude zjištěno, jak respondenti vnímají roli daného konceptu v manažerské práci a jak vůbec hodnotí dopad emocí na pracovišti. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is devoted to the concept of emotional intelligence (EI) and the perception of its role among managers. The concept of emotional intelligence is relatively new, and previous research on the EI model and its components is quite contradictory and debatable. The aim of the thesis is to find out how managers perceive the role of emotions and emotional intelligence in their work. The work is divided into two parts. The first (theoretical) part is focused on examining previous studies on emotions` impact in the workplace, different EI models, and the importance of emotions in the workplace. The second part (practical) is presented by the author's own qualitative research, which will find out how respondents perceive the role of the concept in managers` job and how they evaluate the impact of emotions in the workplace. |
