| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá problematikou veřejného prostoru, jeho plánování a sociálními aspekty jeho využití. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na město Beroun a jeho veřejný prostor. Cílem práce je popsat faktory veřejného prostoru, které mají vliv na kvalitu života ve zkoumaném městě a jeho vnímání obyvateli. Snaží se zjistit, jak se občané Berouna ve veřejném prostoru města cítí, jak ho využívají a na základě této analýzy odvodit možnosti zkvalitnění života ve městě. Práce využívá výzkumné metody hloubkových rozhovorů s použitím metody tvorby mentálních map. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is focused on public space, its planning and social aspects of its use. Specifically, it focuses on the city of Beroun and its public space. The aim of the thesis is to describe the factors of public space that affect the quality of life in the city and its perception by the population. It tries to find out how the citizens of Beroun feel in the public space of the city, how they use it and on the basis of this analysis to derive opportunities to improve the quality of life in the city. The thesis uses research methods of in-depth interviews using the method of creating mental maps. |
