| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena na kulturně-komerční zahradnické výstavy a veletrhy konané pravidelně na stálých výstavištích, konkrétně pak na jejich evaluaci. Práce popisuje veletrhy a výstavy z hlediska historie, jejich kulturního významu a potenciálu uplatnění v současné společnosti. Pozornost je věnována i doprovodnému programu a různým možnostem evaluace tohoto typu kulturně-komerčních událostí. Na evaluaci je nahlíženo z pohledu triády organizátor – vystavovatel – návštěvník. Cílem práce je vytvoření metodiky evaluace zahradnických výstav na stálých výstavištích, ověření její funkčnosti na konkrétním případu a formulace doporučení organizátorům akcí pro evaluaci nadcházejících ročníků. Práce zároveň předkládá vedení jednotlivých měst nástroj vhodný pro zhodnocení efektivity poskytnutých veřejných zdrojů. Informace byly čerpány z veřejně přístupných zdrojů a dále z kvantitativních dotazníkových šetření mezi vystavovateli a návštěvníky a z kvalitativních hloubkových rozhovorů s organizátory. |

| Abstract: | The master‘s thesis is focused on cultural and commercial horticultural exhibitions and fairs held regularly at permanent exhibition grounds, specifically on their evaluation. The work describes fairs and exhibitions in terms of history, their cultural significance and potential application in contemporary society. Attention is also paid to accompanying programs and various possibilities of evaluation of this type of cultural and commercial events. The evaluation is viewed from the perspective of the management-exhibitor-visitor triad. The aim of the work is to create a methodology for the evaluation of garden trade shows at permanent exhibition grounds, to verify its functionality in a specific case and to formulate recommendations to event managers for the evaluation of the next years. The work also presents the town management a tool suitable for evaluating the effectiveness of public resources provided. The information was drawn from publicly available sources as well as from quantitative questionnaire surveys among exhibitors and visitors and from qualitative in-depth interviews with the management. |
