| Abstract: | Práce si klade za cíl přiblížit okolnosti zavedení spotřební daně Air Passanger Duty v letecké dopravě ve Spojeném království. Čtenář se seznámí s historií i s aktuálním stavem. Daň je dávána do kontextu s turistickým ruchem. Velký důraz je kladen na leteckou dopravu jakožto do budoucna jednoho z největších znečišťovatelů ovzduší. Práce se dále zabývá modelováním odhadu období koronavirové pandemie, v jejímž důsledku došlo k drastickému poklesu přepravených pasažérů. Extrapolovány jsou hodnoty daňového příjmu pro období 2020 až 2021, tedy nejtvrdších restrikcí. Snahou je odhadnout možnou ztrátu na daňovém příjmu APD, která byla způsobena omezením cestování. |

| Abstract: | The thesis aims to present the circumstances of the introduction of Air Passenger Duty in air transport in the United Kingdom. The reader will learn about the history and the current situation. The tax is put in the context of tourism. Much emphasis is placed on air transport as one of the biggest future air polluters. The thesis also deals with modelling the estimation of the coronavirus pandemic period, which resulted in a drastic drop in passengers carried. Tax revenue values are extrapolated for the period 2020 to 2021, the period of the most severe measures. An attempt is made to estimate the potential loss in tax revenue caused by the travel restrictions. |
