| Abstract: | Mým cílem je analyzovat poptávku po stravování ve školní jídelně ZŠ Bystřice a stanovit optimální stravné. Na základě interních materiálů školní jídelny a výsledků z dotazníků kalkuluji cenovou elasticitu poptávky a stanovuji výši poplatku, při které by bylo dosaženo maximálního rozdílu mezi příjmy a náklady. Z výsledků analýzy bylo zjištěno, že je poptávka cenově elastická. Z toho vyplývá, že při zvýšení poplatku, byť by byl optimální z hlediska zisku, by došlo ke snížení počtu dětských strávníků, což není žádoucí. Ideálním řešením by bylo zvýšení poplatku pro cizí strávníky. Ze získaného zisku by se pak mohlo stravování dětem dotovat, aby bylo cenově dostupné i pro sociálně slabší rodiny. |

| Abstract: | My aim is to analyse the demand for meals in the school canteen of the Primary School in Bystřice, and to determine the optimal meal price. Based on the school canteen's internal materials and the results of questionnaires, I calculate price elasticity of the demand and determine the amount of the fee that would maximize the difference between incomes and costs. From the results of the analysis, it was discovered that the demand is price elastic. This implies that an increase in the fee, even if it were optimal in terms of the profit, would reduce the number of child boarders, which is undesirable. The ideal solution would be to increase the fee for non-resident boarders. The generated profit could then be used to subsidise the children's meals to make them affordable even for socially disadvantaged families. |
