Internet of Things in insurance

This bachelor thesis deals with the Internet of Things and its use in insurance. It consists of three parts, the first of which briefly describes the Internet of Things, its history, future developments and the technologies associated with it. The second part concerns its application to the insurance industry, individual insurances using the Internet of Things, advantages and disadvantages of the application of the Internet of Things to the insurance industry. The third part deals with the interest in insurance products containing the Internet of Things. It interprets the results of research conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey. It examines respondents' awareness of the Internet of Things and related technologies and their interest in individual insurance products related to the Internet of Things.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá internetem věcí a jeho využitím v pojišťovnictví. Skládá se ze tří částí, v první je v krátkosti popsán internet věcí, jeho historie, budoucí vývoj a technologie s ním spojené. Druhá část se týká jeho aplikace do pojišťovnictví, jednotlivá pojištění využívající internet věcí, výhody a nevýhody aplikace internetu věcí do pojišťovnictví. Třetí část je praktická, zabývá se zájmem o pojistné produkty obsahující internet věcí. Jsou v ní interpretovány výsledky výzkumu provedeného formou dotazníkového šetření. Zkoumá informovanost respondentů o internetu věcí a technologiích s ním spojených a jejich zájem o jednotlivé pojistné produkty spojené s internetem věcí.
