| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce Využití GAS modelu ke sledování vývoje útočných a obranných sil fotbalových týmů v Evropě se zabývá propojením fotbalu a statistiky. Cílem práce je představit model určený k sledování vývoje útočných a obranných sil fotbalových týmů. Pomocí tohoto modelu bude zároveň možné předpovídat výsledky fotbalových utkání. Představeny jsou 3 modely, ke kterým jsou odhadnuty parametry pro Premier League (Anglie), Bundesligu (Německo) a La Ligu (Španělsko) pro sezóny 2008/09 až 2020/21. Pro každou z lig nejlépe performoval jiný model. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis Using the GAS model to track the evolution of the offensive and defensive strengths of football teams in Europe deals with the combination of football and statistics. The aim of the thesis is to present a model designed to track the evolution of the offensive and defensive strengths of football teams. Using this model it will also be possible to predict the results of football matches. Three models are presented to which parameters are estimated for the Premier League (England), Bundesliga (Germany) and La Liga (Spain) for the seasons from 2008/09 to 2020/21. A different model performed best for each of the leagues. |
